I'm Sarah Jobson, a professional hair & makeup artist and the girl behind Making Pretty.

It’s been 18 years since I first fell in love with the profound impact makeup has on a women.

With 1000 faces under my belt, I’ve seen how it can empower a woman in minutes and make her feel beautiful in her own skin.

My career started as a wide eyed teenager working at Napoleon Perdis before moving into management roles at MAC cosmetics in London and Australia. I now freelance full time as a hair & makeup artist specialising in photographic, bridal and special occasion makeup.

I adore a refined and natural palette to enhance a woman’s unique features, personality and style. Dewy, glowing and fresh skin makes my heart skip a beat. And if the occasion calls for it, I love to compliment a strong base with a splash of glitter and colour.

I pride myself on operating in a calm, collaborative and down-to-earth manner on every project. My work has been featured in several issues of Hello May magazine. I have also enhanced my hair skills through training at Biba Academy, Koca Lane Salon and Lorna Evans hair education.

I’m based in Melbourne but am available to travel interstate or internationally for the right opportunity.
